The national football team of Nigeria, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have recorded their third win in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers after defeating the national football team of Cameroon 4-0. (The national football team of Cameroon is called Les Lions Indomptables (The Indomitable Lions or Untameable Lions).
A goal apiece from Odion Ighalo, Chelsea FC winger, Victor Moses; skipper Mikel Obi and substitute Kelechi Iheanacho ensured Nigeria grabbed the maximum three points at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
After a sluggish start, Ighalo puts Nigeria ahead after receiving a fine pass from Mikel in the 28th minute. The China-based forward, however, got yellow-carded for taking off his jersey while celebrating.
Mikel made it 2-0 in the 42nd when he latched onto a Victor Moses corner.
Eleven minutes into the second half, Victor Moses combined with gangling winger Moses Simon before slotting home from inside the box.
Iheanacho, who came in for injured Ighalo, made it 4-0 when he nodded past goalkeeper Fabrice Ondo from Ogenyi Onasi assist in 77th minute.
With the victory, Nigeria top Group B with nine points, while Cameroon have just two points from three matches.
What a beautiful victory for the Super Eagles who put up a marvelous display to inch nearer the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The Super Eagles have qualified and have silenced the Indomitable Lions.

Super Eagles have won an estimated amount of N15,000,000(Fifteen Million Naira) after defeating the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 4-0 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday.
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel had promised 10,000 dollars for each goal scored by the Eagles in the 2018 World Cup qualifier. And the four goals in the match have fetched Super Eagles Captain John Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Moses and their teammates the sum of 40,000 dollars.
As gathered, the Governor had already redeemed a 30,000 dollars he pledged for the tie against Algerian which the Eagles won 3-1 also in Uyo.
Odion Ighalo opened the goal for the Super Eagles in the 32nd minute as converted a fine pass and buried it into the bottom right of the Cameroonians’ goalkeeper to hit the net. And barely 10 minutes later John Mikel Obi who man the midfield also registered his name on the score-sheet with his trade side kick shot from a corner kick taken by Victor Moses.
